Oulton Park prepares for final event of 2010 season

Monday, October 18 2010

Oulton Park is all set for its final event of the 2010 season as the Wirral 100 Club bike Championships reach their conclusion at the Cheshire circuit this Saturday (23 October).

Several of the categories are still up for grabs, both on two wheels and three.

Steven Howard and Martin Darren are separated by just a single point, with the two riders on 57 and 56 points respectively in the 125cc GP series.

It's almost as close in the 250cc GPs, with Joel Williams on 62 points, just two ahead of Paul Brandon.

Formula 125 honours look set for a three way scrap; Harley Rushton and Nathan Harrison are equal at the top on 30 points each, while Louis Dawson is only three points behind in third.

The Sidecars are equally close, with just two points separating Trevor Robinson and Richard Stewart, Craig Hauxwell and David Beattie and Steve Ramsden and John McWhir.

Other series in action this weekend include Formula 400, Powerbikes, Formula 600, and Classic Bikes.

Tickets for the Wirral 100 Motor Club at Oulton Park on 23 October are available from £10 for adults, with free entry for children ages 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
