More racing action to come at MSV circuits this month!

Monday, November 04 2013

Despite major championship seasons coming to an end, MSV still has lots more action to look forward to this November at its Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Snetterton circuits!

Next weekend there are events at both Brands Hatch and Snetterton. The Kent circuit hosts the annual Lotus 6 Hour endurance race on Saturday (9 November). A night practice session this Friday, free to all spectators, precedes the race, which takes place just after noon on Saturday. The morning includes a race for the MSVT Trackday Trophy, whilst the final hour of the main event will take place under floodlights. On Sunday (10 November), the action is expected to be fast and furious with the Vee Festival and Victor Meldrew Trophy, two traditional late-season contests, providing more superb entertainment.

Meanwhile Snetterton will be holding the opening round of the BRDC Formula 4 Winter Championship this weekend (9/10 November). The new series for aspiring racers has proven to be a huge hit in 2013 and some of the year's competitors will be returning along with newcomers fresh from karting and junior championships. The timetable includes support races too, all taking place on the 300 circuit.

The F4 Winter Series concludes at Brands Hatch two weeks later (23/24 November), where it will be joined by the annual season-ending Britcar 'into the night' race. This will provide another opportunity to watch night racing at the circuit. Expect headlights, glowing brake discs and flaming exhausts to light up the track!

Saturday 23 November also provides one last chance to see motorsport action at Oulton Park, when the venue holds the Neil Howard Memorial Rally for a second year. A huge entry of cars will take on a variety of stages formed from the circuit, some of which will be run in the opposite direction!

Tickets for all of these events are available from £10 each, with free entry for children aged 12 and under. For more information click on the links above.
