Last few CarFest North Friday tickets available

Thursday, June 11 2015

A limited number of Friday tickets are still available for CarFest North at Oulton Park on 31 July. The family event, organised by TV and radio personality Chris Evans, celebrates his love of cars, music and great food, whilst raising funds for the BBC's Children in Need charity.

CarFest, which takes place from Friday 31 July until Sunday 2 August, will feature demonstrations of classic and fast cars throughout the day, including icons of motoring, hot rods, supercars, rally cars, low riders, dragsters, Batman cars and racers from BTCC to Formula 1.

In the evening live music takes over from bands including Primal Scream, Billy Ocean and the Boomtown Rats on the Friday, Seasick Steve, Texas and The Feeling on the Saturday, plus Will Young, Level 42 and The Proclaimers on the Sunday.

Paul Hollywood will combine his two loves of great food and magnificent motor cars at this summer's CarFest North (31 July - 2 August).

Amongst a feast of fantastic festival food, Great British Bake Off judge and celebrity petrolhead Paul Hollywood will be presiding over the Sausage Rolls vs Scotch Eggs competition with fellow TV chef Tom Kerridge.

"It's become one of the highlights of my year," said Hollywood, who will be racing an Aston Martin in one of this weekend's Le Mans 24 Hours support races. "CarFest is a proper family festival and does such a great job raising so much money for BBC Children in Need."

CarFest will also feature a host of activities, including sporting challenges, the CarFest beach, showground, kids driving school, vintage village, stunt school, air displays, trade stands and much more.
