Mossey grabs the advantage in final minutes of BSB session two

Luke Mossey snatched the advantage in the final moments of the second MCE British Superbike Championship test session at Oulton Park this afternoon (Friday), as the Quattro Plant Teccare Kawasaki rider displaced Peter Hickman from the top of the times.

Mossey had saved his best until last to claim the top spot, just 0.125s ahead of Hickman who had fired his JG Speedfit Kawasaki to the top of the times just moments earlier a head of the battling Tyco BMW team-mates.

Christian Iddon and Michael Laverty had traded positions for the leading position earlier in the session but at the chequered flag Iddon held third place ahead of Leon Haslam on the second JG Speedfit Kawasaki.

Michael Laverty was fifth fastest from Richard Cooper and Ryuichi Kiyonari who held seventh place on the leading Bennetts Suzuki. Lee Jackson made it two Buildbase BMWs in the top eight with Alastair Seeley launching himself to ninth in the closing stages ahead of John Hopkins on the ePayMe Yamaha, making it four manufacturers on the top ten.
