Fireworks spectacular coming to Oulton Park on 4 November

Friday, October 20 2017

Cheshire's Oulton Park race circuit will close another busy season with a spectacular fireworks display on bonfire weekend (Saturday 4 November). But there's much more than just fireworks - for the £15 advance adult admission fee, guests can enjoy a day of thrilling motorsport with the Neil Howard Memorial Stage Rally. And children under 13 go FREE!

As one of the north west's most picturesque public venues, Oulton Park is the perfect place for a Guy Fawkes celebration. The bonfire and fireworks will both take place close to the circuit's lakeside, where spectators will be afforded stunning views of the parkland setting as it is illuminated by the glow.

There will be plenty of other family attractions to keep everyone entertained too, including precision driving stunt shows, face painting, Scalextric and a fairground.

In the lead up to the fireworks, the circuit will host a full day's rallying, as cars tackle a challenging sequence of stages comprising sections of the undulating circuit as well as its access roads and a water splash. A diverse selection of cars will appear on the stages, ranging from classic Ford Escorts to modern Subaru and Mitsubishi monsters.

The entry even includes local British Touring Car Championship heroes Paul O'Neill and Adam Morgan, both of whom will be looking to create plenty of fireworks of their own on the track as they battle for class glory.

The Neil Howard Stage Rally and Fireworks is always a popular event, and this year a new traffic management system has been put in place to improve the flow of vehicles leaving the venue.
