Sunday, August 01 2021

Daniel Rowbottom edged out teammate Gordon Shedden to become a Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship race-winner for the first time, surging to victory in the opening race of the weekend at Oulton Park this afternoon.

Rowbottom seized the advantage in a six-lap dash to the line, following a red flag stoppage for an incident involving Tom Oliphant, Chris Smiley and Rick Parfitt.
