Bennetts BSB this weekend - all you need to know!

Thursday, May 02 2019

If you're coming along to Oulton Park over the Bank Holiday weekend (4-6 May) for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, here is some important information to help you make the most of your visit.

Gate opening times
Oulton Park will be open to the public from 8am on Saturday and Sunday, and 7am on Monday.

For the full timetable please click here.

Venue Map
To view a map of the venue please click here.

It's going to be busy with a good weather forecast so please be patient and follow the guidance of our staff on the road, who will direct you to the car/bike park with the best access at that time.

If you're coming by bike, the Rotary Club is operating a helmet and leather park adjacent to the circuit walkway inside the main bike park, with all proceeds donated to local good causes.

Helmets are stored for £3 each, with clothing, boots and bags together for £7. The facility will available from 7.30am to 6pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Weekend Camping
Please note that all public camping for this event is SOLD OUT and you will not be able to pay on the day. If you need to book a nearby campsite, please click here.

All public camping is located behind Old Hall corner. There will be no public camping in the infield. All camping ticket holders should enter the campsite via the East Gate entrance, where a member of staff will direct you to the relevant camping area.

Access to the campsite will be available from midday this Friday (3 May) and the site closes at midday on Tuesday (7 May).

Grandstand seating
There are three grandstands at the circuit - one at Old Hall, one at Knickerbrook and one at Lodge corner, each offering stunning views. Seats will cost £5 on Sunday and £22 on Monday, direct from the grandstand locations, subject to availability.

If you have elected to have tickets posted (not print-at-home) you will need to bring the originals to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office.

Print-at-home tickets are emailed on the day of purchase. If you haven't received yours, log in to your MSV account to access them. Print all your e-documents and bring them to the venue. Your order confirmation email will not gain you admission to the venue, you must have your e-tickets printed.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Event programmes are available for just £5 from the dedicated programme booths, including opposite Chequers restaurant, Chequers reception and the campsite entrance. Each programme includes rider profiles and a selection of articles on all championships competing this weekend.

Pit walk
There is a free pit walk on the main race day (Monday) from 11.20am-12.20pm, giving you the chance to meet all of your favourite Bennetts BSB riders. Anyone intending to take part will need to arrive at the queuing point next to the Race Control building at least 15 minutes in advance.
