The 750 Formula will be in action this weekend with a variety of sports-prototype cars set to clash their way around the Island circuit. The club's oldest racing formula utilizes the Fiat 1108cc 'FIRE' engine with limited modifications ensuring reliability throughout the season. The championship, now coming to the end of its eleventh year, features plenty of fantastic overtaking and close battles in every round.

Further single-seater action be found within the RGB Sports 1000 classes with front, mid and rear-engine vehicles all in one grid. These light-weight race cars are powered by motorcycle engines with both two-stroke and four-stroke engines permitted. With a focus on mechanical grip wings are prohibited, plus tightly controlled aerodynamic development helps to ensure an even playing field.

Formula Vee vehicles may be low in power, just 85hp in fact, but they certainly don't lack fun or nose to tail racing. These lightweight 1300cc open wheel machines boast average lap speeds of around 90mph at most venues so expect to see dazzling action this Saturday.
